Douglas P. Arkin, CPA - doug@arkincocpa.com Doug is the managing shareholder of Arkin & Company. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the table in servicing clients from many different industries with concentration in non-profit organizations. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past chairman of the Board and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Catholic Youth Organization of the Archdiocese of Washington. He is a past Vice-President of the Montgomery County Chamber of the American Cancer Society, a past Treasurer of a small non-profit charity in Montgomery County and past Chairman of the Shrine of St. Jude School Endowment Fund. He currently sits on the advisory boards of several retail, wholesale and non-profit organizations. Doug was selected twice by SmartCEO Magazine as one of Maryland’s Top 30 Smart CPAs in 2009 & 2011.  SmartCEO Magazine recognizes top accountants and showcase Certified Public Accountants who do more than crank out numbers. Terrance P. Leary, CPA, MST - terrance@arkincocpa.com As of January 1, 2011, Terrance is a new shareholder of Arkin & Company.  He brings 11 years of experience to the table in servicing clients from many different industries with concentration in taxation  He is a 2004 graduate of American University where he received his Masters of Science degree in taxation. Terrance received his Bachelors of Science degree in accounting from Frostburg State University. Terrance is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Terrance’s experience and proclivity toward tax research has made him a sought after resource not only to our firm but his peers in the industry.

James M. Arkin - jarkin@arkincocpa.com Staff Accountant Jim is a staff accountant of Arkin & Company in his 3rd year with the firm.  He is a 2009 graduate of St. Joseph's University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in accounting.  Jim is currently pursuing a master degree in taxation at The American University.

Wendy Zhang Serior Accountant Wendy is a senior accountant of Arkin & Company in her 1st year with the firm.  She brings six years of experience in public accounting with a concentration in tax.  Wendy is a graduate of the University of Alabama-Birmingham where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in accounting.  Wendy is also a CPA candidate.
